Utah Admin. Code R33-102-112 - Attendance, Quorum and Voting
(1)
Eight members of the Board are required for a quorum to transact
business.
(2) Any determination of
the Board must be approved by a majority vote of those voting members present
and must receive an affirmative vote from at least five members.
(3) Voting shall be:
(a) expressed publicly when called for by the
Presiding Officer;
(b) the number
of affirmative, negative, and abstaining votes announced by the Presiding
Officer; and
(c) the vote of each
member shall be recorded by the Secretary.
(4) A member must be in attendance, either in
person or by electronic means in accordance with this rule, to vote.
