Utah Admin. Code R354-2-102 - Small and Professional Service Definitions
(1) Terms used in this rule are defined in
Section R354-1-102, with the addition
of:
(a) "Annual cumulative threshold" means
the maximum total annual amount, established under Subsection (2), that the
CRAU may expend to obtain Procurement Items from the same source under this
rule.
(b) "Individual Procurement
threshold" means the maximum amount, established under Subsection (2), for
which the CRAU may purchase a Procurement Item under this rule.
(c) "Single Procurement aggregate threshold"
means the maximum total amount, established under Subsection (2), that the CRAU
may expend to obtain multiple Procurement Items from one source at one time
under this rule.
(d) "Small
Purchase" means a purchase of any Procurement Item under this rule other than a
Professional Services purchase.
(2)
(a) The
Small Purchase Annual Cumulative Threshold is $200,000, the Individual
Procurement Threshold is $50,000, and the Single Procurement Aggregate
Threshold is $100,000.
(b) Small
Purchases made under this rule may not exceed a threshold, unless the
Procurement Official gives written authorization to exceed the threshold that
includes the reasons for exceeding the threshold.
