Utah Admin. Code R477-101-17 - Performance Surveys
(1) The division shall
establish and follow a schedule to survey the performance of each ALJ every four
years in a staggered schedule to survey the performance of about one-quarter of
ALJ's each calendar year.
(2) Survey
respondents shall include:
(a) an attorney who has
appeared before the administrative law judge as counsel in the proceeding;
and
(b) staff who have worked with the
administrative law judge.
(3)
Additional respondents may include any other persons who have appeared on record
before the administrative law judge, including pro se parties and
witnesses.
(4) The division shall
maintain survey results separate from the ALJ's personnel file.
(5) The division shall make survey results
available to the ALJ's direct supervisor for consideration in completing annual
performance evaluations.
