Utah Admin. Code R495-820-9 - Ongoing Review
(1) The DHS IRB has
the authority to set the timeframe for ongoing review of research. The
timeframe will be no greater than 12 months from the date of
approval.
(2) The researcher is
responsible to submit the ongoing review request form 60 days prior to the DHS
IRB approval expiration date.
(3)
The researcher cannot continue with any research activities past the approval
expiration date unless renewal is granted as the result of an ongoing review,
in which case a new expiration date will be given.
(4) Data collected after expiration of DHS
IRB approval may be required to be destroyed.
