Utah Admin. Code R500-2-2 - Definitions
(1) "Complainant" means a person who
initiates a complaint.
(2)
"Complaint" means a complaint initiated with the ombudsman identifying a person
who has violated the rights and privileges of an individual with a
disability.
(3) "Division" means
the Division of Customer Experience.
(4) "Investigative hearing" means a
non-adversarial hearing held at the discretion of and presided over by the
ombudsman to ascertain the facts necessary to resolve the complaint.
(5) "Ombudsman" means the ombudsman appointed
in Section
26B-6-702.
(6) "Office" means the Department of Health
and Human Services Office of the Ombudsman.
(7) "Rights and privileges of an individual
with a disability" means the rights and privileges of an individual with a
disability described in Subsections
26B-6-802(1) through
(3).
