Utah Admin. Code R590-148-16 - Requirement to Deliver Shopper's Guide
(1)
(a) A
long-term care insurance shopper's guide, in the format developed by the NAIC,
shall be provided to a prospective applicant.
(b) A producer shall deliver the shopper's
guide before the presentation of an application or enrollment form.
(c) For a direct response solicitation, the
shopper's guide must be presented in conjunction with an application or
enrollment form.
(2) A
life insurance policy or rider that provides incidental long-term care
benefits:
(a) is not required to furnish the
shopper's guide; and
(b) shall
furnish the policy summary required under Subsection
31A-22-1409(8).
