Utah Admin. Code R590-190-5 - Misrepresentation of Policy Provisions
(1) The
insurer and its representatives shall fully disclose to first party claimants
all pertinent benefits, coverages or other provisions of an insurance policy or
insurance contract under which a claim is presented, including loss of use and
household services.
(2) The insurer
is prohibited from denying a claim based upon a first party claimant's failure
to exhibit the property unless there is documentation of a breach of the policy
provision in the claim file.
