Utah Admin. Code R590-267-4 - Conversion Factors

(1)
(a) The following conversion factors shall be used with R V P 2021 to determine the reasonable value of each medical service or accommodation provided on or after January 1, 2022:
(i) anesthesia, 109.20;
(ii) surgery, 232.50;
(iii) radiology, 36.76;
(iv) pathology, 24.00;
(v) medicine, 13.33;
(vi) evaluation and management, 16.07.
(b) The conversion factor used with RVD 2021 to determine the reasonable value of each dental service or accommodation provided on or after January 1, 2022 shall be 68.33.
(2)
(a) The following conversion factors shall be used with R V P 2019 to determine the reasonable value of each medical service or accommodation provided from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021:
(i) anesthesia, 108.00;
(ii) surgery, 225.88;
(iii) radiology, 35.60;
(iv) pathology, 24.29;
(v) medicine, 12.80; and
(vi) evaluation and management, 14.74.
(b) The conversion factor used with RVD 2019 to determine the reasonable value of each dental service or accommodation provided from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021 shall be 66.67.
