Utah Admin. Code R614-2-5 - Drilling Industry - Signs, Signals and Barricades
A. Prevention Signs and Tags.
1. General. Warning signs or symbols shall be
visible at all times when work is being performed, and shall be removed or
covered promptly when the hazards no longer exist.

2. Safety Warning Signs
a. Warning signs shall be posted to denote
any unusual hazardous situation.
b.
Warning signs shall be posted in areas where the use of personal protective
equipment is required.
c.
Identification signs shall be conspicuously posted to locate emergency
equipment.
d. Storage areas and
containers of poisonous, toxic, flammable, or explosive material shall be
properly labeled and appropriately stored according to content.
3. Transformers.
Signs indicating danger and prohibiting unauthorized access shall be conspicuously displayed on the housing or other enclosure around electrical equipment.
B. Signaling.
Signals between supervisors, employees, or other persons involved shall be established and agreed upon prior to start of operations.
