A.
Buildings used for explosive materials shall be of a safe design for the
materials being handled and shall be maintained in that condition.
B. Heating equipment shall be installed in a
manner to prevent ignition, deflagration or explosion of the materials being
handled.
C. Buildings where dust,
fumes, or vapors are possible shall be adequately ventilated, at the source of
the hazard. Exhaust fans through which combustible dust or flammable vapors
pass shall be equipped with nonsparking blades (or casing lined with
nonsparking material) and approved motors. The entire ventilating system shall
be bonded electrically and grounded properly.
D. Cleaning and collection systems shall be
installed and maintained in a manner that takes into consideration the
materials being handled.
