Utah Admin. Code R649-9-14 - Variances from Requirements and Standards
(1) Requests for approval of a variance from
any of the requirements or standards of Rule R649-9 shall be submitted to the
director in writing and provide information as to the circumstances that
warrant approval of the requested variance and the proposed alternative means
by which the requirements or standards will be satisfied. The director shall
review the request within 45 days and notify the requesting party of the
decision to approve or deny the variance. Upon receiving a denial, the
requesting party may appeal the denial to the board.
