Utah Admin. Code R650-204-2 - Definitions
(1) "Hazard to navigation" means any object
permanently placed on or under the waters of this state in such a way that it
presents an obstacle to navigation, including:
(a) a pier or shoreline dock that is longer
than 75 feet in length;
(b) a
floating dock;
(c) inflatable
recreational equipment;
(d) a
commercial fishing device;
(e) a
scientific device;
(f) a
navigational aid;
(g) a slalom
course, jump or rail, or another recreational device; or
(h) a vessel moored outside of a designated
mooring area.
(2)
"Permanent" means intended to be left on a waterway overnight or intended to be
left on a waterway unattended during the day.
