Utah Admin. Code R652-124-200 - Definitions
1. "Fire Department" is defined as a
department that is tasked with responding to and suppressing or controlling
wildland fire within a particular geographic jurisdiction.
2. "Grant" is defined as a disbursement of
funds from the Wildland Fire Preparedness Grants Fund and/or another funding
source to a fire department to assist in building capacity for the suppression
of wildland fires or for wildland fire prevention and preparedness.
3. "Grant Applicant" is defined as a fire
department seeking a Wildland Fire Preparedness Grant.
4. "Grant Application" means an application
for a grant.
5. "Grant Approval
Considerations" means the considerations the Division may use to determine
whether or not to approve or deny a grant application.
6. "Grant Applicant Eligibility Requirements"
means the requirements that must be met by a fire department to be considered
eligible to receive a grant.
7.
"Qualified Purpose" means the purpose specified by the funding source for the
grant.
