Utah Admin. Code R652-124-300 - Grant Administration
1. Funds
from the Wildland Fire Preparedness Grants Fund can only be used to assist fire
departments in building capacity for the suppression of wildland fire. Other
grant funding sources may have other purposes related to wildland fire
preparedness and prevention.
2. The
Division may limit the number and amount of grants approved.
3. The Division will provide an application
form for grant requests.
4. All
grants may only be used for a qualified purpose.
5. Grants must be used in the year they are
awarded.
6. Grant recipients must
provide documentation of the use of the grant to the Division after the grant
is used.
7. The Division will
notify grant recipients of the date that documentation of the use of the grant
must be provided to the Division.
8. The Division will publish the deadline for
grant applications on its website.
9. The Division will notify grant applicants
who do not meet grant application Eligibility Requirements.
10. The Division may publish further
information and guidance on this grant program and other grant programs on its
website.
