Utah Admin. Code R82-8-104 - Designated Conveyance Areas Signage
(1) Authority. This
rule is made pursuant to Sections 32B-8-401 and 32B-8b-301.
(2) Purpose. The purpose of this rule is to
establish designated conveyance area signage requirements for a person licensed
as a resort under Title 32B, Chapter 8, Resort License Act, or as a hotel under
Title 32B, Chapter 8b, Hotel License Act.
(3) To clearly identify each designated
conveyance area, a resort licensee or hotel licensee shall display a sign as
described in Subsection (4) that:
(a) measures
8.5 inches by 11 inches in size;
(b) includes a map of all designated
conveyance areas within the resort licensee or hotel licensee premises;
and
(c) includes in large letters a
statement that reads: "Alcoholic beverages may not be taken beyond a designated
conveyance area."
(4) A
resort licensee or hotel licensee shall prominently display the sign described
in Subsection (3):
(a) at the beginning and
ending of the designated conveyance area; and
(b) in at least one other location within the
designated conveyance area.
