Utah Admin. Code R911-5-200 - [Effective until 7/10/2025] Licensing Standards
(1) The bureau may
license individuals meeting qualifications of Title 53, Chapter 2d, Emergency
Medical Services Act, and this rule as a paramedic, advanced emergency medical
services technician, emergency medical services technician, emergency medical
responder, crisis response technician, or advanced crisis response
technician.
(2) The committee shall
advise the bureau concerning training and competency standards as defined in
the National Association of State EMS Officials National EMS Scope of Practice
Model 2019, Report No. DOT HS 812-666. Washington, DC: National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration, which is incorporated by reference.
