Utah Admin. Code R911-5-604 - [Effective until 7/10/2025] Training Officer Endorsement
(1) The bureau may
endorse a licensed individual who is an endorsed EMS instructor as a training
officer for a two-year period.
(2)
An individual who wishes to become endorsed as an EMS training officer shall
submit to the bureau:
(a) documentation
showing competition of a minimum of 30 hours of EMS instruction within the past
year;
(b) documentation showing a
current EMS instructor endorsement;
(c) documentation showing successful
completion of the bureau's course for new training officers;
(d) a completed training officer endorsement
application;
(e) applicable fees;
and
(f) a completed and signed
training officer contract agreeing to abide by the standards and procedures in
the 2024 Training Officer Manual, incorporated by reference in this
rule.
(3) A training
officer shall maintain an EMS instructor endorsement.
