Utah Admin. Code R926-3-6 - Self-Certification
(1) Funds. By accepting class B and C road
funds from the Department, a local highway authority certifies and agrees that
it shall spend class B and class C road funds according to Rule R926-3; Title
72, Chapter 2, the Transportation Finances Act; and any other applicable state
and federal law.
(2) Maps. A local
highway authority shall maintain a current map of roads within its
jurisdiction, regardless of classification. A local highway authority shall
update this map when it adds or abandons a road within its jurisdiction. This
map shall be in a publicly accessible format and made available to anyone upon
request.
(3) Distributions. The
Department shall distribute class B or class C road funds to local highway
authorities based on their centerline mileage totals included in the most
recent map and mileage report submitted to the Department. By accepting class B
and C road funds from the Department, a local highway authority certifies that
its most recent map and mileage report is accurate.
