Utah Admin. Code R966-1-49 - Judicial Enforcement
(1) The
administrator may commence an action in the district court or in a district
court of another state to enforce a final determination of liability and secure
payment or delivery of past due, unpaid, or undelivered property.
(2) An action to enforce a final
determination of liability must be brought not later than 5 years after the
determination becomes final.
(3) If
no court in Utah has jurisdiction over the defendant, the administrator may
commence an action in any court having jurisdiction over the
defendant.
(4) The administrator
may request that the Attorney General appoint a Special Assistant Attorney
General to represent the administrator in any action to enforce a final
determination of liability.
