Utah Admin. Code R986-100-120 - Discrimination Complaints
(1) Complaints
of discrimination can be made in person, by phone, or in writing to the local
office, the Office of the Executive Director or the Director's designee, the
Department's Equal Opportunity Officer, or the appropriate Federal
agency.
(2) Complaints shall be
resolved and responded to as quickly as possible.
(3) A record of complaints will be maintained
by the local office including the response to the complaint.
(4) If a complaint is made to the local
office, a copy of the complaint together with a copy of the written response
will be sent to the Office of the Executive Director or the Director's
designee.
(5) Discrimination
complaints pertaining to the Food Stamp Program will also be sent to the
Secretary of Agriculture or the Administrator of Food and Nutrition Service,
Washington, D.C., 20250 in accordance with the provisions of
7 CFR
272.6(1999).
