Utah Admin. Code R993-100-104 - The Right to a Hearing and How to Request a Hearing
(1) A client or applicant has the right to a
review of an adverse division decision or action by requesting a hearing. The
request must be in writing and filed within 30 days of the agency decision
being appealed, or in the event a mediation was terminated, the date of the
notice of the termination. If the applicant/candidate/client requested a prior
review or mediation, the request must be filed within 30 days of the decision
by the Field Service Director or the mediator.
(2) Only a clear expression by the client to
the effect that the client wants an opportunity to present his or her case is
required.
(3) The request for a
hearing can be made at the local office or the Division of Adjudication.
