Utah Code R313-30-1 - Scope and Applicability
(1) Rule
R313-30 establishes requirements for use of therapeutic radiation machines.
Rule R313-30 is in addition to, and not in substitution for, other applicable
provisions of Title R313.
(2) The
use of therapeutic radiation machines shall be by, or under the supervision of,
a licensed practitioner of the healing arts who meets the training and
experience criteria established by Subsection
R313-30-3(3).
(3) Rule R313-30 shall only apply to
therapeutic radiation machines that accelerate electrons into a target to
produce bremsstrahlung or that accelerate electrons to produce a clinically
useful electron beam.
