7 Special Examinations
(a) The written test contains twenty (20) questions. A passing grade is 80%. An oral examination will be given only to those persons who have difficulty in reading and writing English.
(b) The road test includes substantially the same standards as those in the original examination.
1. In the event of a failure, subsequent road tests must be taken within the prescribed time period in order to retain a valid license, or the license shall be suspended for a minimum of 6 months.
2. Within 30 days of the failed road test another must be taken. If failed, a third test must be taken within the following 30 days of the second failure. If a third test failure occurs, the operator's license shall be suspended for a minimum of 6 months.
3. No suspended license will be reinstated until the road test has been satisfactorily completed and passed.
(c) The eye test contains the same standards as those in the original examination.
(d) A personality inventory. Optional. If court ordered or operating record reveals a possibility of need for psychological review.
