6 Va. Admin. Code § 15-81-710 - Artificial light
A. Artificial
light shall be provided in all cells, dayrooms, and dormitories to provide at
least 20 foot-candles at personal grooming areas, tables, and desk tops, if
desks are provided. Night lighting is required.
B. Light fixtures used within the secure
perimeter shall be equivalent to the security level of the area in which they
are designed.
