Wash. Admin. Code § 173-421-020 - Assumption of jurisdiction and applicability
The department finds that the prevention and control of air pollution from motor vehicles should be regulated on a statewide basis and, hereby assumes jurisdiction over motor vehicles for the purpose of controlling air contaminant emissions from the operation of such motor vehicles.
