Wash. Admin. Code § 246-322-240 - Laundry
The licensee shall provide:
(1) Laundry and linen services, on the
premises or by commercial laundry;
(2) Storage and sorting areas for soiled
laundry in well-ventilated areas, separate from clean linen handling
areas;
(3) A clean area with an
adequate supply of clean linen;
(4)
When laundry is washed on the premises:
(a)
An adequate water supply and a minimum water temperature of 140°F in
washing machines; and
(b) Laundry
facilities in areas separate from food preparation and dining; and
(5) Facilities for patients who
wear their own clothing during hospitalization to do personal
laundry.
