Wash. Admin. Code § 296-104-151 - Inspection - What are the requirements for rental boilers?

Every rental boiler used in the state of Washington will have an internal inspection as defined in WAC 296-104-010 witnessed by an inspector once a year. An external inspection as defined in WAC 296-104-010 shall be witnessed by an inspector at each and every rental location before being placed into service. Rental boilers shall also meet the requirements of WAC 296-104-300.

A rental boiler, which has never been in rental service in the state of Washington, shall meet the requirements of WAC 296-104-273. Each inspection will be reported to the state of Washington in accordance with WAC 296-104-040, and a copy of this report will be posted on the rental boiler.

It is the responsibility of the rental boiler owner to arrange for all required inspections.
