Wash. Admin. Code § 296-67-367 - Emergency planning and response
(1) The employer
must develop, implement and maintain an effective emergency response or
emergency action plan for the entire plant, pursuant to the provisions of WAC
296-24-567 Employee emergency
plans and fire prevention plans, and chapter 296-824 WAC, Emergency response.
An emergency response plan must define and include procedures for handling all
of the following:
(a) Large and small spills
or releases;
(b) Fires;
(c) Explosions; and
(d) Any other emergency with a direct bearing
on employee safety and health.
(2) The written plan must specify how an
emergency response will be executed if it exceeds the capability of the
employer's internal emergency response team.
(3) The employer must document any agreement
with external emergency response organizations expected to assist in an
emergency. The documentation must include schedules for planned
drills.
