Wash. Admin. Code § 357-58-145 - When may an agency authorize lump sum relocation compensation?
An agency director may authorize lump sum relocation compensation, within existing resources, whenever:
(1) It is reasonably necessary that a new or
existing employee move their primary domicile to accept an appointment;
or
(2) It is necessary to
successfully recruit or retain a qualified candidate or employee who will have
to move in order to accept the position.
