Wash. Admin. Code § 480-30-446 - Availability of information
(1)
Company information. A company that provides auto transportation company
service must have a:
(a) Toll-free or local
business telephone number for customers located within the company's authorized
service area; and
(b) Mailing
address.
(2)
Messaging. A company must have voice mail, an answering machine,
or answering service to receive calls when company personnel are
unavailable.
(3)
Responding
to customer inquiries.
(a) A company
must respond to all nonwritten messages within twenty-four hours excluding
weekends and holidays, as defined in the company's tariff.
(b) A company must acknowledge and respond to
a customer's written inquiry within two weeks of receipt.
(4)
Information that must be
available. A company must make the following items available to
customers for inspection upon request at no charge during the company's regular
business hours:
(a) The commission's
passenger transportation company rules in chapter 480-30 WAC;
(b) The company's current tariff and time
schedule;
(c) The company's current
certificate; and
(d) Any current,
proposed, or most recently canceled tariff page that relates to the customer's
service.
