Wash. Admin. Code Northwest Clean Air Agency, 100, 140 - REPORTING BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
140.1 State and
Federal agencies, within the jurisdiction of the NWCAA, which are required by
State and Federal law to abide by the Regulation of the NWCAA shall notify the
NWCAA, prior to construction of any facility which has the potential to create
air pollution, the name and location of the agency involved, the nature of the
construction and the type and quantity of equipment involved and the type and
quantity of pollutants involved.
140.2 All governmental agencies which lie
wholly or partially within the jurisdiction of the NWCAA, including but not
limited to city and county planning agencies which recommend or adopt land-use
and zoning regulations including the issuance of variances such as conditional
or special use permits for the construction of any facilities which they have
reason to believe may emit air pollutants; shall notify the NWCAA of any such
action or construction prior to recommending or adopting of such regulations or
the issuance of any such permits.
