W. Va. Code R. § 64-18-22 - Vector Control
22.1.
Effective measures shall be used to minimize the presence of rodents, flies,
cockroaches, and other insects and vermin on the premises.
22.2. The premises shall be kept in such
condition as to prevent the harborage or feeding of insects, rodents, and other
vermin.
22.3. Applicable doors,
windows and other exterior openings shall be effectively protected against the
entrance of rodents, insects, and other vermin. These areas include, but are
not limited to, food service areas, toilet facilities, and housing areas. This
requirement does not apply to primitive camping, outpost camping or similar
recreational activities.
22.4.
Screening material shall not be less than sixteen (16) mesh to the
inch.
22.5. Only those pesticides
approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the United
States Department of Agriculture shall be used.
22.6. Poisonous or toxic materials shall not
be used, stored or disposed of in a way that constitutes a hazard to employees
or other persons, nor in a way other than in compliance with the manufacturer's
specifications.
