W. Va. Code R. § 64-74-12 - Right to Unrestricted Communication
12.1. A consumer has the right to unimpeded
and private communication by any means with whomever a consumer chooses, except
as specified in this rule.
12.2. A
consumer's right to communication, except for that with his or her legal
representative, may be restricted or denied if authorized by the treatment
staff or the attending physician for a specified time not to exceed thirty (30)
days, after which time the restriction may be reviewed and
reinstated.
