Wis. Admin. Code Medical Examining Board Med 13.05 - Evidence of compliance
(1) PHYSICIANS. The board will accept as
evidence of compliance by physicians with the requirements of this chapter, as
original electronic or hard copy documents or verified copies thereof, any or
all or any combination of the following:
(a)
Certification by either the providing institution or organization or the
American medical association or the American osteopathic association, or
components thereof, of attendance at and completion of continuing medical
education programs approved under the provisions of s. Med 13.03 (1)
(a).
(b) A "Physician's Recognition
Award" of the American medical association or a certificate of continuing
medical education from the American academy of family physicians awarded not
more than 12 months prior to the beginning of the calendar year for which
application for registration is being made.
(c) Certification by a chief of service or
head of department or director of medical education of the providing facility
of appointment to and satisfactory participation in a postgraduate training
program approved under the provisions of s. Med 13.04.
(2) RETENTION REQUIREMENT. Evidence of
compliance shall be retained in electronic or hard copy format by each
physician through the biennium for which 30 hours of credit are required for
registration.
