The purpose of this section is to insure that a consignor's interest in any vehicle consigned is protected from adverse claims of motor vehicle dealer creditors, administrators, or trustees. Section 402.326(5), Stats., provides that personal, family or household goods do not become the property of a consignee dealer upon consignment. Therefore, no U.C.C. financing statement is required to protect consignors of personal vehicles. A U.C.C. financing statement is required to perfect the interest of a business consignor in a vehicle consigned to a dealer. ss. 409.310 and 409.319, Stats.
