Wis. Admin. Code Department of Transportation Trans 254.16 - Special conditions
(1) When a load is transported under a
permit, the permittee may be required by an issuing authority to provide a
traffic officer or flag person to direct traffic, 2 escorts, or police
escort.
(2) All loads 16 feet wide
or wider shall have 2 properly equipped escorts.
