Wis. Admin. Code Department of Transportation Trans 305.14 - Side marker lamps, clearance lamps and reflectors
(1) Every motor
vehicle manufactured after January 1, 1969, every vehicle registered as a
homemade vehicle on or after January 1, 1975, and every vehicle registered as a
reconstructed vehicle after March 1, 1996 shall be equipped with side marker
lamps and reflectors marking at least the front and rear corners of the
vehicle.
(2) Every motor vehicle
originally equipped with clearance lamps as defined in s.
340.01(7),
Stats., or reflectors shall have such lamps or reflectors maintained in
conformity with this section and with ss.
347.16 to
347.19, Stats.
(3) Side marker lamp and clearance lamp
wiring and connections shall be maintained in good condition.
(4) Side marker lamps, clearance lamps and
reflectors shall be securely mounted and maintained in proper working
condition.
