Wis. Admin. Code Department of Transportation Trans 308.13 - Leveling bars
The strength rating of each leveling bar, or part of such unit, shall be not less than:
(1)
Longitudinal tension-gross load of trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 3
(2) Longitudinal compression-gross load of
trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 3
(3) Transverse thrust-gross load of
trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 1
(4) Vertical tension-gross load of
trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 1.3
(5) Vertical compression-gross load of
trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 1.3
