006-6 Wyo. Code R. §§ 6-3 - Bereavement Leave

Permanent employees, probationary employees, temporary employees who have been employed for six (6) continuous months of employment and at-will employees, except executive employees, at-will employees at the Governor's office, and at-will contract employees, shall be granted five (5) regularly scheduled work days not to exceed a maximum of forty (40) hours of bereavement leave upon the death of a family member. This leave shall be for the purposes associated with the death of the family member and shall be used before the use of any other leave authorized for this purpose:

(a) Executive employees and at-will employees at the Governor's office shall follow the Executive Leave Policy;
(b) Intermittent employees, emergency employees, interns, and at-will contract employees shall not be granted bereavement leave;
(c) An employee may be required to submit substantiating evidence. Abuse of bereavement leave is cause for disciplinary action.
