024-4 Wyo. Code R. §§ 4-4 - Legal Descriptions of State Archaeological Sites
(a)
Legend Rock State Archeological Site: The lands in Hot Springs
County managed as Legend Rock State Archaeological Site are described as
follows:
(i) T44NR98W Southwest 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 and Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of
Northeast 1/4 of Sec. 10. This tract contains 20.98 acres.
(ii) T44NR98W Northeast 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Sec. 10, the tract contains 10
acres.
(b)
Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site: The lands in Big Horn
County managed as Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site are described as
follows:
(i) T50NR89W, Big Horn County,
Wyoming Sec. 15: West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4; Sec. 21: East
1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4; Sec. 22: West 1/2
of the Northwest 1/4. To include those lands within 500ft of Medicine
Lodge Creek; development is to be placed within 500 ft of Medicine Lodge Creek,
with the exception that no development is to placed within the irrigated hay
meadows.
