041-3 Wyo. Code R. §§ 3-1 - Delegation of Enforcement Authority
(a) The delegation
of local enforcement pursuant to
W.S.
35-9-121(a) is contingent
upon the maintenance of properly certified inspectors employed by the
municipality or county for each purpose. Failure to maintain the properly
certified inspectors, inspection authority shall revert pursuant to
W.S.
35-9-121(a) (v).
(b) Inspection: Minimum Qualifications for
Inspectors.
(i) Building Inspection: ICC
Certified Commercial Building Inspector
(ii) Fire Inspection: ICC Certified Fire
Inspector II
(iii) Life Safety
Systems: Fire Inspector II
(iv)
Electrical Inspections: ICC or IAEI Commercial Electrical Inspector and
Residential Electrical Inspector and be currently Licensed by the State of
Wyoming as a Journeyman Electrician. For State owned or Leased Facilities a
current Wyoming Master Electrician License is required.
(c) The delegation of sole plan review
authority pursuant to
W.S.
35-9-121(b) is contingent
upon maintenance of properly certified inspectors and plans examiners employed
by the municipality or county for each purpose. Failure to maintain the
properly certified plans examiners will result in cancellation of the sole
authority pursuant to
35-9-121(b) of the
jurisdiction. It is the responsibility of the municipality or county to inform
the Department promptly of any lapse in required plans examiner
certification.
(d) Plan Review:
Minimum Qualifications for Plans Examiners
(i)
Building: ICC Certified Building Plans Examiner
(ii) Fire Protection Systems: ICC Certified
Fire Plans Examiner
(iii) Fire and
Life Safety: ICC Certified Fire Plans Examiner
(iv) Electrical: ICC or IAEI Electrical Plans
Examiner and a currently Wyoming Licensed Master Electrician.
