048-13 Wyo. Code R. §§ 13-11 - Medicaid Allowable Payment
(a) The Department
shall establish and maintain payment rates for behavioral health services to
assure that payments are consistent with efficiency, economy, and quality of
care and are sufficient to enlist enough providers so that care and services
are available, to the extent that such care and services are available to the
general population in the geographic area.
(b) Except as otherwise specified in this
Chapter or the Wyoming Medicaid Rules, the Medicaid Allowable Payment shall not
exceed the lower of the provider's usual and customary charges or the Medicaid
fee schedule in effect on the date services were provided. The Medicaid fee
schedule may include specific fees for services and/or a methodology for
establishing such fees. The fee schedule is available upon request from the
Department.
