053-21 Wyo. Code R. §§ 21-1 - Definition of Mass Separation and Notice
(a) The term "Mass
Separation" means a separations (permanently or for an indefinite period of
time or for an expected duration of seven or more days), at or about the same
time and for the same reason, of 20 or more workers employed in a single
establishment.
(b) An employer
shall file with the division in writing or by using the internet website
approved by the Division, a mass separation notice which must include the
layoff date and the period and amount of termination, severance, sick, or
earned vacation payments, where applicable, for each employee. Such notice
should be filed as soon as the employer has reason to believe a mass separation
will take place, but shall be filed not later than five calendar days after
such separation.
