206-43 Wyo. Code R. §§ 43-4 - Grant Funding
(a) The Department
of Education may provide funding to equally match a district's processing costs
during school year 2018-2019 and school year 2019-2020, contingent upon
available funding.
(b) Grant
funding shall only be awarded to pay for processing costs of Wyoming meat
donated to the district for use in school lunches. Grant funding cannot be used
for the cost of processing of prime cuts or other cuts not intended for school
lunches.
(c) Priority will be given
to districts that already participate in farm-to-school efforts and have
already contributed district funding to pay for local meat
processing.
(d) Only districts that
currently participate in the USDA National School Lunch Program are eligible
for grant funding.
