252-2 Wyo. Code R. §§ 2-1 - General license requirements
The following requirements apply to all applicants for licensure as an acupuncturist:
(a)
Applicants for a general acupuncture license shall submit:
(i) A complete and legible application form
with a recent, unmounted, full-face photograph;
(ii) Proof of Lawful Presence in the United
States;
(iii) Payment of the fees
set by the Board;
(iv) An official
transcript giving evidence of graduation from an accredited ACAOM program and:
(A) Official passing score of the NCCAOM
examination;
(B) Evidence of
continuous practice of acupuncture in Wyoming for the last ten (10) years prior
to January 1, 2018; or
(C) Official
passing score of the California Acupuncture Licensing Examination.
(v) Verification of license in
good standing from all jurisdictions in which the applicant is currently, or
has ever been licensed or certified in any health care profession;
(b) No applicant for license shall
have been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude or controlled
substances which may impair the applicant's ability to provide competent health
care or which could pose a threat to the safety of the consumer public. A plea
of nolo contendere shall establish guilt to the underlying criminal
charge(s).
(c) The Board may issue
a license by endorsement in accordance with
W.S.
33-49-109.
