36 U.S. Code § 80101 - Organization

(a) Federal Charter.—

General Federation of Women’s Clubs (in this chapter, the “corporation”) is a body corporate and politic of the District of Columbia.

(b) Perpetual Existence.—

Except as otherwise provided, the corporation has perpetual existence.
