41 U.S. Code § 102. Commercial component

In this subtitle, the term “commercial component” means a component that is a commercial item.

Amendment of Section

Pub. L. 115–232, div. A, title VIII, § 836(a)(2)(A), (h), Aug. 13, 2018, 132 Stat. 1860, 1874, provided that, effective Jan. 1, 2020, subject to a savings provision, this section is amended by striking “commercial item” and inserting “commercial product”. See 2018 Amendment note below.

Amendments

2018—Pub. L. 115–232 substituted “commercial product” for “commercial item”.
