HTML

HTML, the abbreviation of HyperText Markup Language, is a data structuring language that governs the text layout of online pages. HTML is one of the most fundamental components of any website. It was designed by the British scientist Sir Tim Berners-Lee at the CERN nuclear physics laboratory in Switzerland during the 1980s.
