satisfaction of judgment

A satisfaction of judgment is a document signed by a judgment creditor and generally filed with the court, indicating that a judgment has been paid in full. If the judgment creditor has a lien on real property of the judgment debtor , the judgment debtor may request that the satisfaction of judgment be recorded with the recorder of deeds .
