The following are ALL rules, proposed rules, and notices (chronologically) published in the Federal Register relating to 16 CFR Part 1610 after this date.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) has approved a Statement of Policy regarding the CPSC's enforcement of the requirement for a general conformity assessment certificate (“GCC”) with respect to adult wearing apparel that is exempt from testing under the CPSC's clothing flammability standard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC or Commission) has received a petition requesting amendments to the test procedure in the Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles, 16 CFR part 1610. Petitioner requests changes in the requirements for preparation of clothing textiles for flammability testing. The Commission invites comments concerning the petition.
